Boomerang Partners wraps up TIME TO WIN, with 57 teams having vied for exclusive AC Milan-linked rewards

Running from February 12 through March 31, the tournament saw 57 affiliate teams participate. These competitors generated a total of 1,611 sports FTDs across various brands within the Boomerang Partners portfolio. Notably, 40% of the participants were newly registered partners for this event.

Engagement levels varied among the teams, with 37% finishing at least two assignments, while one team successfully completed the entire set of tasks.

Rossoneri Hub as the tournament’s central platform

All competition activity was hosted on the Rossoneri Hub, a custom platform created through the partnership with AC Milan. During the event, the Hub saw 33,268 visitors, acting as the primary portal for task management and progress monitoring.

A format built covering the full affiliate lifecycle

The “TIME TO WIN” framework integrated the entire affiliate lifecycle into one unified platform. Scoring was based on five key areas: performance, SMM, PR, brand surveys, and reviews, all of which contributed to the final standings.

Specific point values were assigned to clearly defined tasks:

  • Generating new sports users for Boomerang Partners’ client brands – 10 points per FTD
  • Completing the brand survey – 25 points
  • Providing expert commentary for PR activities – 30 points
  • Taking part in a dedicated SMM challenge – 25 points
  • Submitting a review on a selected platform – 20 points

The brand survey emerged as the most engaged-with task. Creative elements also played a role, including an AI-driven challenge that resulted in 17 unique AC Milan kit concepts designed by participants.

AC Milan partnership as a value driver

A core element of the tournament was its deep integration with AC Milan, with all prizes linked directly to the football club. This elevated the event beyond a typical incentive program.

Participants gained access to high-level experiences reflecting the Boomerang Partners and AC Milan alliance, ranging from merchandise packs and signed jerseys to matchday access and behind-the-scenes opportunities. These premium rewards are unique to this top-tier partnership and are designed as exclusive experiences.

Prize structure and winners

Winners are determined across five prize tiers, unlocked by reaching specific point milestones. Notably, three teams exceeded the 750-point threshold, qualifying for the highest-tier experiences.

The prize structure included:

  • Prize 1 (150 points): TIME TO WIN Merch Pack for a team of five (3–5 sets)
  • Prize 2 (250 points): Official AC Milan jerseys signed by players (five jerseys per set – 3–5 sets)
  • Prize 3 (350 points): A trip for five people to the AC Milan v Cagliari match (one set)
  • Prize 4 (550 points): A trip for five people to the AC Milan v Juventus match, including pre-match access (one set)
  • Prize 5 (750 points): A trip for five people to the Milanello Sports Center, the training heart of AC Milan (two sets)

In total, 15 partner representatives will attend the AC Milan v Juventus fixture. The top prize includes one winning team of up to five people, with additional attendees joining through the Milanello experience.

To meet high interest, Boomerang Partners increased its ticket allocation, raising premium ticket supply by 300% and total ticket volume by 212% compared to the standard quota.

The “TIME TO WIN” event served as an entry point into a larger competitive framework. Teams reaching the 100-point threshold earned bonus points for the Golden Boomerang Awards 2026. This annual affiliate tournament, hosted by Boomerang Partners, officially launched its third season on April 3.

This year’s competition centers on the “Beyond the Moment” theme, moving from short-term gains to sustained performance.
