(AsiaGameHub) – XGENIA today launched XGENIA v2, its iGaming platform, as open source by publishing the code at github.com/XgeniaORG/XGENIA.
The company stated that the release includes its runtime engine, math modeling system, asset pipeline, game-creation workflows, and developer tooling. XGENIA emphasized that studios, operators, and developers can fork the code, deploy it on their own infrastructure, and “fully own every line of the foundation their business relies on.”
However, XGENIA’s AI layers are not part of the open-source release. The company clarified that these components remain proprietary and are provided separately as part of its commercial offering.
In its announcement, XGENIA framed this move as a solution to common challenges in iGaming platforms, such as restrictive licensing and IP lock-in, lengthy vendor-driven development cycles, limited access to AI tooling, and opaque math models. It also highlighted integration difficulties and vendor dependency as significant business risks for studios and operators.
